EXCEPTIONAL performance

This is my initial assessment of my new Deluxe 28". Having been thru two big snow events for 2026 in Northern NY (ADK MTNS) this machine is built like a tank and very powerful. With a tenth of an acre where we park and a 450' x 15' driveway to do, I need a good snowblower. My old Troy-Bilt was able to do the driveway, with about a 14 inch snowfall before it finally died when I started on the parking area. With a seized engine, and snow coming down the following day, I had to go buy a new one. Just bought for February 26 snow storm, great machine only thing i would have liked would be the tracks but could not find them anywhere, i got lucky and found this one in Loews, i mainly use it for the back yard 100'X100' for our 100lb dog, i lifted the skates up so it dosent rip up the grass, used it 2 times so far and its a beast, i will be ordering tire chains for it, love this snow monster.

Lowes review and Ariens review

Lowes WAS my go-to store over the orange competitor box store. Those days are gone. Bought this in November, didn't use because we had no snow. Worst Snowblower ever owned!!!

This machine has never run properly. From the second storm it would run for about 10-15 minutes and then stall our and shut down. After bringing to the local Ariens repair shop, they diagnosed and indicated the gas was old and had clogged the filter (but gas was brand new and purchased only days before use). I did a ton of product research before I decided to purchase this blower. Average snowfall in my area is 50 inches per year. Everything about this was terrible. I was initially told the delivery would occur 1 week before it did. Even when I called lowes about the delivery they told me it would be the week before. Starter Went Out After Running it 5 Times

This is the second Ariens I had bought, the first one the teeth on the chute gear stripped and I got rid of it. This model the starter went out after using it five times! Great unit once we got it working properly

Customer service was top rate, as it always is. I elected to take a machine that was still in the crate, rather than wait for one to be assembled. It only took about 20 minutes to assemble the unit once I arrived home. I added oil and started it up.
