Deck Stain Remover

I applied this twice according to the directions. It was extremely difficult to remove the stain with my pressure washer. I do not recommend this product.

Does not work

Used instructions as directed and its done absolutely nothing. Do not spend the money.

No Good Solution.

I am not sure there is a wood deck stripper on the market worth 4 or 5 stars. I used this brand and several others and all of them leave large areas of stripper behind. Seems like to get the job done you will have to get out a sander and coarse sand paper and spend a day or more sanding all that these strippers leave behind. Did not get the job done

The finish on our deck (Thompsons-semi transparent) was three years old and very worn in most spots. I treated my full deck twice and spot treated lingering color spots a third time by following the directions and leaving the product on for about 30 minutes rather than 15 each time. Doesn't work.

Doesn't work. Leaves behind patchy spots.

Delivery was great both Jose and Giovani knew what they were doing and fridge went in without a problem we have a trailer at a camp resort and they were able to get it in without taking trailer doors off. We needed the door to open on right side and they changed it with no problem would recommend them anytime.

Does the job

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Valspars fast acting wood stripped helped with preparing the surface of our deck before we put it up for sale. Definitely make sure you have proper ventilation for this. It covered the deck very evenly and aided in proper removal.

Did not work as hoped

Attempted to remove paint from a deck but only removed top coat. Definitely did not work as described & pictured on side of bottle.

Worked

Works as described to removed 8 year old Olympic stain.

Stripping a 40x12 Foot cedar deck

Product did not work as well as I hoped. It was easy to apply but the instructions said not to let it dry and the drying time was 15 minutes, so I had to work in sections and I pressure washed the product off the deck. Once dried, I can see sections that will need sanding so that is why I gave it the rating I did.

It worked pretty well but need the force of my pressure washer to get most of the stain off

Did Not Work

Bought two gallons of this product as I have a large deck surface to strip. I "stripped" a small section (some steps) to test it and had NO result. I waited until the area was dry and tried again. NO result even after letting the product set for 30 minutes. I checked at 15 minutes, just in case, but nothing had happened. Since I have two gallons, I tried the second jug on another area of the deck. Again, NO result. Very disappointing.

The old textured stain came up

Never delivered

My order required a signature in order to receive it. Their email stated it would be delivered in the morning. Then it was change to later in the day - 6:50pm. I waited all day at home - no delivery. Here I am next day - no delivery.

Zero Affect on newly satined fence

Needed to remove the stain on my new fence due to HOA objections. I fFollowed the instructions. It did not remove any stain.
