What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise the cord's exceptional build quality, heavy-duty construction, and reliable performance across demanding applications like welders, generators, and EV chargers. The rubberized, non-brittle coating and heavy gauge wire resist wear while preventing overheating. Many appreciate the lighted plug end for verifying power in low-light conditions and the flat design for routing under doors. Some note the 90-degree angled blade limits compatibility with standard household outlets, though this higher-amperage design suits professional equipment perfectly. Despite minor isolated complaints, most customers consider it a durable, dependable choice for serious power needs.

Good cord
Looks awesome under a blacklight. I like that the end lights up to show it has power to it. The only thing I didn't like about it, is the ends are quite bulky.

lower cost extension xord
Would RecommendI needed to relocate a pump with a 3/4 HP, oil-filled motor. Its cord was labeled 14/3, so I needed to get at least matching capacity for the 25 foot outdoor extension cord that I needed. This cord satisfied all requirements at lowest (free) delivered cost. It arrived in about a week and I'm satisfied.
Heavy duty
Would RecommendThis is a heavy duty extension/drop cord. It has some weight but, not overly heavy. I'd recommend it.

ground fault exemption cord
Needed ground fault outlet for wet /dry vacuum for when a ground fault outlet was not available. This extension cord fills the bill and allows to be moved to any location where a outlet does not have the ground fault circuity.

Picked up at Lowes, it was filthy dirty, looked used. Even the twist-tie looked like it was redone.
Power flickers - bad connector
Would Not RecommendFemale end must have loose or bad connector. Power flickers on and off with slight movement of the cord. Purchased to use as shore power for my camper, thinking it was keeping battery bank charged over the winter. Batteries were nearly dead before I discovered this cord was bad. Tested every possibility, and narrowed it down to this cord being faulty. Missed the opportunity to return it, so now I’m stuck with it.

The expense directly translates into quality
Would RecommendThick, heavy, high quality cord that delivers power with very little reduction in voltage (confirmed with a Kill A Watt meter between the cord and an electric powerwasher). This is exactly what I needed. The surprising bonuses are how little it gets tangled (it's almost "buttery" in its flexibility) and how easy it is to clean after use (wipe w/ a microfiber cloth).

10-ft 16 _SLASH_ 3 Light Duty extension cord
Would RecommendFor a light duty extension cord this one seemed well made with good ends. It seems like it will hold up well over time. I used it to hook up a light under a metal carport so worked out great!

Great Quality
Would RecommendLove seeing American - made quality! The tag says “indoor Use Only,” but don’t let that fool you - this is SJTOW cord is fully outdoor rated, tough, flexible, and handles Arizona heat with ease. I’m glad they didn’t let the lawyers jack up the price with extra bureaucracy, so you get medium duty performance at a fair price. Perfect for gigs, speakers or any temporary outdoor use.
