Ratings & Reviews for Masonite 30-in x 80-in (primed) Solid Core 6-panel Left Hand Molded Composite Single Prehung Interior Door

What Customers Are Saying
Customers praise the solid core construction for dramatically reducing noise transfer and blocking sound effectively between rooms. Many appreciate the primed finish and ease of installation, noting the classic 6-panel design looks expensive without premium pricing. However, significant manufacturing quality issues persist: numerous reviewers report stripped screw holes, shallow mortises, misaligned hinges, and loose hardware that prevent doors from closing properly. Some experience warped jambs and incorrect knob placement. Despite these defects, most customers find the sound insulation and value worthwhile, though quality control concerns remain troubling.

Door review
Would RecommendDoors are light weight and easy to handle. Being already primed makes painting less work. Measurements are true but my old door wasn’t. Trimming door down also no problem.

Solid but texture
Would RecommendSeems like a solid door. It just has a wood grain texture. I'm not a big fan of it. I'd rather have a smooth finish

Beware
Would Not RecommendPretty shotty workmanship. Screws in hinges are stripped and falling out from factory. Hinges not seated in the machined reliefs
