Would Not RecommendPurchased this door last week for one of our child's bedrooms. Already installed before we noticed that the frame near the latch was cracked (I REALLY don't believe it was our doing), and 2 of the 3 hinges weren't even recessed into the side of the door. The top one is, but the middle and lower hinges are surface mounted on the slab side. Door would have been just ok (what we expected) had these issues not been present. Don't expect more than you pay for, and be sure to fully inspect this item b...

Would RecommendThe door is solid for a composite core. Texture looks nice especially once it’s painted. Had to go back for a replacement as one of the hinge mortises were not fully cut which caused the hinge to be pulled loose presumably during shipping. Replacement/ exchanges with Lowe’s was easy as always so no complaints. Just make sure to inspect the doors before you leave as this was likely a manufacturer issue. I’ve installed a lot of these and like them. Definitely a lower cost nearly equal alternative ...

Pre hung door
I installed the door and squared it. It is rubbing on the side towards the top when I close it. After checking it I found the hinges on top and the one in the center are not countersunk enough making the door rub. I'm going to have to take the door off and route the hinges deeper
