Step is like brand new now!

My step was professionally painted last year and you can see how the paint has worn off and chipped. I wanted something stronger that would last and tried Liquid Rubber. You can feel the difference, it's thick and strong. The step gets slippery too and I like the Textured option. I sanded, primed, applied 1 coat of the Smooth Deck Coating. I bought this product because it claimed to be a durable product that I would NOT have to re do my deck every year!!! cleaned the deck ,used Goodfellas Woodgrain Filler, sanded ,vacuumed & cleaned, put 2 coats of Liquid Rubber multi purpose primer , then had to put 3 coats of polyurethane deck coating to get complete coverage. 6 months it is starting to separate from the wood coming up in sheets WOW all that MONEY & TIME

Poor Quality, not a deck coating as advertised

the product quality is extremely poor. it would maybe hold up on a covered patio where it saw absolutely zero elements. the name is kind of deceptive because the product is not a liquid rubber it is essentially a paint. everything was prepped properly including using their primer about five coats beforehand. 2 years in and it has peeled off 80% of our deck. Thick and Easy

Incredibly thick and yet very easy to handle/spread on my outdoor shower project. used shower last weekend after putting 3 layers on ....NO LEAKS! very impressed with this project and the sales rep for his recommendation . Karl E. Boyd. Woodstock, N.B.

Garbage!!

Even though they give you color swatches the color does not match. They said you must go to your local paint store to get the color they say they are sending to you. Total garbage!! Will never use their product again!! What a waste of money!

I would have given 5 stars but this particular model of liquid rubber is the "texture" which makes it non-slip but is very aggressive almost rough which will last longer but maybe a little rough on bare feet I did use a light sanding when dry with a drywall screen type paper on a pole which smoothed it out making it less rough it is been used on a pontoon boat deck and it went on very thick great coverage needed at least 2 coats because plywood surface was very dry and I did use their primer w...

Disappointed in water proof

I wasn’t happy with the results. I put several coats on a raised wood deck. I had some issues with leaks below the deck. Also, the coating is a little harder than i expected

Nice texture

Painted a plywood cargo box. I used a sponge roller, applying alternate coats at 90 degrees. The result is a nice texture, resembling a coarse fabric.

Terrible packaging

Since the product is not stocked locally anywhere I had to order it for home delivery. When it arrived at my front door I opened it to find that polyurethane had leaked/been forced out of the bucket and all over the inside of the box it came in, as well as the outside of the bucket itself. In addition to that, attempting to remove the lid is an extremely frustrating experience. The rim of the lid is scored (although not well enough), and there is break in that rim with a tab that must be brok...
