Not as good as expected

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this when our new Kohler toilet was being installed. It replaced a unit it had on the previous toilet. Frankly it is not as powerful, useful or engineered as the simple add on generic unit we had prior. It doesn't stop water or other fluid from leaking down the outside of the toilet. Also, the stream is not as focused and therefore less efficient in body cleaning. It's cheaply made and doesn't reflect the Kohler quality that you b...

Very Comfortable.....(once adapted to fit same brand as toilet)

I bought this brand (Kohler) bidet toilet seat because my toilet is a KOHLER. It did not fit well so my son had to alter it. It is okay now, but thought that if I buy the same brand as the toilet, it would fit perfectly. Very disappointed that this was not the case.

Hose leaks on the 250, get the 300

They should stop selling this. My experienced plumber called the pro line to report that BOTH PureWash M250 seats leaked. Kohler offered to send out the improved PureWash M300 and we're waiting to get that one installed.

Looks good, disappointed unable to complete the install.

We could not successfully install - the gasket on the t-valve did not perform and had leaking everywhere. Could not find a replacement gasket. We are in the market for a electric bidet for our other bath and based on this experience I would have to take the Kohler out of consideration.

Great Seat - Needs Replacement Parts

5 Stars for how well the product works, but 1 Star for the lack of the replacement seal in the extend tube . I had to buy a new seat because that one seal worn down and water went around the seal instead of pushing on the seal and extending the spray tube. For the lack of a three dollar part, I had to buy a whole new seat assembly. A horrible waste of resources.

Great bidet.

The seat was easy to install and works great. The spray attachments are a little tough to change but that is understandable since they are under pressure. The seat is comfortable.

Quality and Integrity

based on the reviews - i may not be inclined to make a purchase. Leaky valve within a year seems to be consistent. I have used bidets all over the world and am disappointed in the reviews on this site. Concerns - quality, hardware integrity, seat top not staying up, Length of time before failure. I don't see any reviews after use for over two to three years. Not encouraging. No reviews on how to keep it clean or repair.

Top Lid Won;t Stay Open on Kohler Toilet

Doesn't fit my Kohler toilet. The top lid doesn't stay open. What the heck???? Now I'm using Velcro to keep it up. Very classy. Also feels cheap for the price. The amazon bidet it's replacing is 1/5 the price; don't buy this.

Easy to install. Works great. I like the streamlined look.

We own three of these and are big fans

We just replaced our third toilet seat with this bidet PureWash model and love them. They're more hygenic, reduce paper waste, are soft close - all the features you could want in a toilet that doesn't require power.

Good product at a reasonable price

Easy to operate product that works very well. Biggest issue was getting the existing toilet seat off as it was not a simple take off the screws process.

Should have bought this sooner.

I installed five of these to a single home. After about six months, one began dripping at the handle where the twist knob ends, and another has never had strong pressure from the nozzle (#3). 45 psig water pressure to all five, so that's not the problem. Even switched them around to different locations and the result is the same. Screen is clean and no debris evidence in any viewable area. Seat Great, T-valve awful.

The seat is great, the T-valve you provide is awful. I’ve bought this seat twice now and both times I’ve had a Kohler toilet. The T-valve needs to be more like a traditional toilet valve. This one is metal, slippery and hard to make a proper seal with. Also, even by hand I was able to shred some of the threads on my toilet valve. I had to buy a separate T-valve to make sure the seal was properly made.
