Defective Item

After all the hasstle of picking up a bulky item like them, I received a damaged box only to turn out that the shower door box contained only the glass and no frame! Besides delaying my project and incurring unnecessary costs by the contractor, I now am planning the return of this defective item.

Good door but a difficult install. Read details

If walls are out of plum, good luck. First time installing a shower thou. And it was difficult to make it work and figure out how to cover the gap. I ended up getting L trim for tile and modified it to cover the wall-door frame gap. Worked out well! Door it self is good quality.

Terrible Design for the Money

The support mechanisms are inadequate for the heavy door. Most of the key components are plastic, which distort and go out of alignment when the door is hanging on them. The plumb adjustment doesn't work because of this, so the soft-close mechanism doesn't work properly. If you call customer service, they ask what page you're on in the manual and start reading it to you. Really? Look for something else - or just live without the soft close.

Worst product I ever bought from Lowe’s. The Lowe’s service department and the manager at Lincoln Lowe’s are terrible. Never again.

DO NOT BUY

Ordered this door for a client. Followed the directions to a T, glass exploded damaging the quartz sill. Reordered and had sill fixed. 2nd door did the exact same thing causing new damage to the quartz. I'll never use or install another Kohler shower door. Absolute garbage.

Box was a little tore up, but nothing inside was damaged.

Excellent product

After a bit of re-working, our contractor actually fine tuned the adjustment by reading ALL the installation instructions. ;) Looks great. Soft close is an excellent feature. A little hard to clean where the doors meet, but we will practice.

Premise Shower Door.

Shower doors and frame were heavy and well made. Item was packaged in a well protected box (glass). The brushed nickel looks perfect with the rest of my brushed nickel accessories (faucet, towel bar, etc.). The self closing door helps with heavy handed people preventing the shower door to slam. My contractor told me the shower door came with an instruction book the size of an ‘encyclopedia’ 😂
