Great one coat coverage.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Painted my laundry room. One coat and your done. Applies easily and has a lovely semigloss glow.

Waste of money

One coat paint? What a joke. I was lucky enough to completely cover the walls in two coats (after going back and buying another gallon for $44). Next time I'll buy the mid-grade paint instead of buying into the illusion of the "super fabulous" top grade paint. This is nobody's fault by my own. I just hope it helps somebody else?! Don't waste your money as it is junk.

Not one coat coverage

I am beyond disappointed with this paint. The guy recommended it at the store and so we decided to go with his advice. This is the picture after one coat, I had to go over with a second coat of course. I found it hard to do the wall in sections because every time I went over a wet spot to try and blend, the roller took up that paint leaving it lighter than the rest. More like triple coat...

This is the worst paint that I have ever purchased. Suppose to be "one coat", NOPE, it took three coats to get the correct coating on our walls. The walls just sucked it up like a cool drink on a hot Summer day. Dull looking, no sheen, no shine, just dull. Now we're stuck with this dull paint on our walls. Highly disappointed. Not worth the price and it was expensive in my opinion. Wast of money

Tears and frustration in a can

Painted 2 WHITE walls with 3 even coats. Paint dried blotchy and reflects horribly. I paint all the time and have never seen anything like this. Hate.

Had to apply up to 3 coats in some places

The 1 coat guarantee, didn't hold up this time around. I wrote to Sherwin Williams - info@ with pictures and receipts but no response.

Horrible Paint

I’m shocked to see such high reviews. This is the second time we’ve bought this paint. We painted 2 bedrooms (different colors) with this paint and both times they needed a second coat. The paint is SUPER thick which makes it really difficult to apply evenly. I had to press with way to much force to get it off the roller brush and onto the wall. It’s not user error either. Great paint. I only had to do one coat throughout the house.

New Look

We painted rooms in our house and are so happy. We went with the upper end paint and it was worth it.

Does NOT cover in one coat

Sherwin Williams Infinity is a good can of interior latex paint and primer. I had a dark wall (dark terra cotta) that I covered with a lighter color (yellow). Even though the quality was good, the claim on the label that it can provide "one coat coverage guaranteed" is NOT true. I had to used two coats to completely cover the original paint. If you zoom in on the photo I've attached, you will see that this is true. I'm also not sure that the Infinity line is that much better than the Showca...

worst paint ever!

I spent the extra money to get one coat coverage. The sales associate told this was their best paint and would give a one coat coverage unless painting over a very dark color. We were painting over a very light green, so it should have covered with no problem. We have always bought our paint at Lowes, so I thought it would be great. The paint was very drippy.
