Level up the bathroom

Its been in use for about a week now, and every works as advertised. I had to add a gfci outlet to the bathroom light switch, converting a switch from an unused bathroom heater. The install was complicated by a leaking wall water supply, which was addressed with a quick trip to the hardware store. I used a right angle adapter then a right angle cutoff valve to move the filter out from the back so that it could be easily changed from the side. So far, so good

All good , although only in service for a few weeks. Hope stays like that. Before buying asked over chat the bottom width of the toilet since only top width was portrayed in the manual. Chat support mentioned 9 inches when in fact the toilet is 13 inches at the bottom. Maybe include width in the manual since lots of buyers could be concerned of fit due to water inlet position. Filter also too bulky.

Toilet has a known reoccurring problem

We purchased this toilet and it worked great for a little more than a year. Then one day it started to run water through it nonstop. So I called deer valley. They don’t except calls. You have to do all customer service through emails. And each email will take 24 to 48 hours to get a responds from them. First email to let them know there is an issue with their product that claims to be covered by their warranty for two years. Wait for 24-48 hours. Loud flush

The auto flush feature is nice the first time you use it. But it becomes quite annoying with all the unnecessary flushes. And, unfortunately, the only way to turn it off is to unplug the toilet. The flushing sound is so loud it disturbs the downstairs neighbors. The toilet is beautiful, but I think the functional practicality needs to be improved.
