Black Stainless 800 Series Gas Slide-in Range

Overall buying my BOSCH 800 Series Range has been a good decision. It replaced a lame electric oven and gas cooktop.

Grates stained and blotchy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After using the stove top 1 time, the flat ice top grates are stained and blotchy and so are the burner caps. Otherwise, it works very well and looks nice.

Great stove

Bad Bosch

If you're shopping for a new appliance, do yourself a big favor and walk right by this Bosch offering. I was fooled into believing they were a high end brand and have been paying for it ever since. The only thing high end about them is the price tag and the cost of repairs, which are plentiful. We bought this Bosch gas range in 2019. By November of 2020, the igniter had to be replaced. By August of 2023, the igniter had to be replaced again. By June of 2025 - you guessed it - the igniter had to ...

Do not buy a gas stove from Lowes

We purchased installation and they refuse to install for no reason. We have a no working stove in our kitchen.

Worth It

What an attractive and well-made oven. Stainless steel even where it doesn’t show. The large dials have a very precise feel and allow you to set the flame height quickly. And the oven comes up to temperature SO fast - and the temperature is exactly right. Recommended.

Gas range

So far so good , I am happy I needed 29 1/2 inches as that's all the space I had and Bosch made one to fit thanks Bosch

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Best oven I've ever had. This not only has a great cooktop, but also a wonderful oven that roast and bakes to perfection.

DO NOT BUY FROM LOWES!

They installed it and it seemed to work, but later that day discovered it is defective and turns off or on without warning and constantly gives an error code. I contacted Lowe's next day to trouble shoot but same issues continued. Lowe's said it is a special order item and they won't exchange it or honor the sale purchase price. My only option was to return jt and buy it again at full price paying $600 more and go without a oven for 6 weeks as that was the lead time. What a joke.

Great Range with Significant Shortcomings

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Works very well. There are several shortcomings. First is that the feet are not accessible when range is in place making it very hard to get the counter top over lips even with the counter top surface. The corner covers look very cheap for an otherwise beautiful appliance and they have ragged edges. The contro; pamel is too sensitive, just a light brush with your hand or glove activates it.

Disappointed in Bosch 800 Series Gas Slide in

The range performs very well. However, the lack of accessability to the adjustable feet make it nearly impossible to set the height correctly. The Corner Covers at the back of the range are cheap, ugly and have sharp edges. A big spoiler for an otherwise beautiful range. Also the control panel is too easily trigger just by brushing against it. So, no I would not buy it again

Awesome product

Very reliable and beautifull

Classy looking and cooks like a dream

I am still learning all about this range and all it has to offer. It has replaced the contractor grade cooker that came with my house and I must say ... BRAVO! I am thrilled with how it looks and the burners are amazing. I haven't baked yet but my granddaughter, who is in culinary school, is coming over to break it in. Cannot wait. So far? 10 of 10.

Burners clicking

We have had this range a few months and noticed the burners click like crazy when they are not on, especially when we open the oven door. It’s scary and seems abnormal, but Bosch is saying it is normal — I disagree and have never had an oven do this. Very disappointed, as I was excited to get a Bosch, thinking it would be exceptional quality.

2 Stars because it's pretty

This cooking range is beautiful, otherwise it would have gotten 1 star from me. Purchased Jan 2020. What others said about the cooktop being very scratchy is true. The initial installer left a giant scratch mark. Then over the years, even with only using a sponge, the top was scratched all over. There was also discoloration which looked like water spots. Defective upon delivery

It was defective upon delivery. The ignitor would click as soon as i plugged it in and would not stop clicking until i unplugged it. A replacement is a month away so i have to take a day off of work to have bosch come and repair it.

Terrible Installation

The absolute worst customer service experience from Lowe’s. The oven was delivered over a week ago, three people have been out and still waiting on someone to hook it up.

Love my gas range

It's been a month since I bought my new range and I love it so far.It works perfectly and it cooks evenly. I have been using the oven and it is much better that my old one that I had.Never have bosh appliances,first time we got it and it is worth the money.
