Cut your DIY time down

A must have if doing your own install. You can cut angles, or laser strait pieces. Quick and easy to use. Great time saver. I have scoring tools, wet saws, you name it and I go for this first because of how easy things go through.

Decent Budget Friendly Option

I recently installed a subway tile backsplash in my laundry room, and I knew this was most likely the only tile project I would be doing so I didnt want to pay for a full fledged tile saw I would use once. This works fine to score tile & cut a straight line. To trim up small pieces or cut small ones do not use this. Get a small wet saw or borrow or rent one.

Easy and clean cuts

Very easy to use and ends up with straight cuts. A lot easier and cleaner than the wet saw. Make sure you pass the scoring blade a few times before cutting off. For plank sized tiles, I had a hard time cutting on the long side and used wet saw for that instead, but the short side of the tiles were cut perfectly. It made my project go much faster.

Only works for some tiles

Does not work on tiles that have a grain...like the marble tiles I was using...needed a circular saw

Cracked 3 tiles when trying to snap. They were 13” hexagonal tiles. Nothing fancy. Just porcelain. Spend the money on the ones that have a solid steel bar. Not these round hollow poles that bend. This probably works okay for glass

This Job Was Really a "Snap"

This was first my go around in tile installation. This cutter was great. After a quick You Tube video, there was no stopping me. You can do this.

Easy, Exact, Excellent

Excellent purchase!!!! I had glass tile to cut and this did the job perfectly and easily. It was a lifesaver to find this. I had purchased a tile cutter with blades but that required water and two people. It was woefully inaccurate. Then I found this! Game changer. I LOVE IT!!! Now I want to do more tile projects!

14” is not correct; works for less than a 10” tile

I did like that it did not cut well in diamond shspe tile . Only good for straight cut . Also, it states 14” but it’s just ly good for 9 inch tile .

Not for medium to heavy cutting

It was adequate to cut the replacement piece for our patio set, but not for much else.

Not for even tile surfaces

The product may work for smooth flat tiles. I’m cutting mosaic tiles and it was difficult for me to use so I had to return it.

Terrible at straight lines

Designed to prevent clamps from easily attaching to hold tiles in place. The existing guide is flimsy silicone edge instead of hard plastic meaning getting a tile lined up at 90 degrees for the duration of the score/cut is very difficult. Seems to be designed to prevent you from getting perfect lines but to get you close enough that you waste a lot of tiles.

Why is this even for sale? You get what you pay for. In this case you get less than that. Fantastic at smashing tiles. Not so good at snapping then.
