Cut my crackled glass tile perfectly!

Very easy to use, I was worried about how cheap it was and some of these reviews. But it worked perfectly and i was cutting a crakled glass mosiac tile. You just have to: 1. Score it once with some pressure 2. Put the pressure plate on each cut and push down. THATS IT! So for some of the review that broke the scoring wheel you must have pushed way to hard. 20 inch tile cutter

I bought this to do 50 feet of 18”x24” porcelain tile for master bath wall. Worked great!!! Never used one before. Just followed simple instructions. Didn’t lose any tile due to excessive breakage.

Easy Peasy

I bought this to use cutting porcelain tile that was 9x12. It worked like a charm. It takes a couple of cuts to get the amount of force to use on the cutting arm, but then it was all down hill. I also have a wet saw, but this made straight cuts move so much faster.

NOT for porcelain

The online info indicates ok for porcelain. The instructions with the cutter say not for porcelain. Cut the first tile ok but the next several all shattered until I gave up trying. Fortunately was using relatively inexpensive tile. Bought a diamond tipped grinder blade to use instead which worked better. I still gave it a decent rating as it seems well made for the price just not good for porcelain. Probably good on the less hard ceramic tile.

Not for porcelain

Bought cutter based on price and specs given on this site. Specs on site are wrong! This cutter is not for porcelain, glass or hard stone like marble. Got home and tried cutting 8 mm thick porcelain tile with no luck. Thickness was under the 9.5 mm stated in direction booklet but looking closer to the booklet found it stating good for ceramic not hard tile like porcelain, glass or nateral stone.

Was a little difficult to learn how to use properly but once I figured it out this tool made my project a breeze perfect for what I needed it for

Decent tile cutter

The price and quality of this tile cutter are both good. Pretty simple to use. If you don't have a lot of tile to cut, or any complicated cuts, this is a great tool.

I am a do DIY and have laid several tile floors before. I have always used a wet saw for all my cuts or a diamond blade in an angle grinder. I have a tile floor project right now of 17x15 divided by 3 rooms. I purchased this to cut 8x24” wood look ceramic tiles. It has worked awesome! Very easy, clean, and you can cut right where you are working without worrying about the water from a wet saw or the dust from a diamond blade. I’m really glad I picked this thing up. It has had no problems with the ceramic wood plank tile I’m laying and is much quicker than the wet saw. It is a bit flimsy as other reviews have stated, but it hasn’t caused any problems for me. I’ve probably made about 200 cuts and haven’t even had to change the cutter yet.
