Difficult to connect to plain Romex cable.
Would RecommendIt is a good product, but installation was difficult because the opening to connect the wires of the fan to my Romex wiring was difficult because it only fits armored cable input clamps, not the clamps for just 12 or 14 gauge Romex.

Would Not RecommendIf I could give 0 stars, I would. Have never had any problems with power vents in the past. Installed this one for a customer who said it "sounded like a helicopter." The motor burned out immediately.

Would RecommendReplaced the motor and thermostat in both my existing roof vents which have been in operation for 14 years. I ordered the same make and model. The new replacements were an EXACT match. Replacement of both motors and new thermostats took about an hour. These vents are made in the U.S.A and are very well made, fairly priced and of good quality. I will purchase again without hesitation.

Quieter but leaked oil
Would Not RecommendThis replaced an older fan & was much quieter. However, within 6 months it began dripping small amounts of oil on the attic floorboards below. Afraid it would burn up so replaced with a different brand.
