Would Not RecommendI have just purchased this product on June 22 online, picked up June 23 and installed by a plumber on June 25th. All excited that I was replacing the older GE softener after 13 years. The plumber connects it, adds the salt and re realize the computer panel board is not flush to the cover and it will not allow us, when pushing buttons, to set the clock and salt level etc. The licensed plumber realized there was nothing we could do so we took the softener back to Lowes. Would RecommendQuality control was iffy; came with a damaged cover and the brine well was not in its proper place. But so far it is working correctly without any leaks and Whirlpool sent me a new cover under warranty.

Would RecommendThe pro series 46 is perfect for 4 people. Keep level at 5, any more, too salty. Easy to program, remember you will need a clear hose about 12 inches with clamps for top of tank, check diameter, and remember to use Teflon for threads there:) follow tutorial video on website, the next day, you will experience exactly what it says.
