This base was listed in the manual for the used Grizzly G3102 milling machine I just bought. I noted that some of the reviews said the wheels had too much "slop" so I went to the effort of making new axles for the wheels, and bored the wheels to fit well. I also added spacers to take up slack in the wheel housing. All of that wasn't the problem, or at least not all the problem. This base is just not heavy enough for that milling machine. Near Miss
This is a good dolly for heavy machinery as long as you don't need all 4 casters to swivel. The front casters swivel but the rear ones do not. I find this unacceptable and I replaced all 4 casters with ones that swivel -- it's hard to get an exact match for diameter, so I needed to replace all four. This is an added expense, but in my small shop it's important to have the most versatility of movement. Itherwise, it's good purchase.

Weak stand
Does not feel heavy duty I have the stand for my band saw and it rocks back and forth in it would almost be better not on stand the metal bracket where Machine sets is to flimsy bery poor design

Super Heavy-Duty Mobile Base
Would RecommendI bought this for a stand for a 80g air compressor ,the compressor has 3 legs, and was prone to tipping with the wheels i had, so this unit the super heavy duty mobile base what excellent for this, had to modify the 3rd leg mounting, but no problem, now the compressor has no chance of tipping over when moved.

Would Not RecommendUsed this Shop Fox mobile base for my Jet 18 inch bandsaw. Very stable and I can now move the bandsaw out when I need to use it.

Grizzly bandsaw mobility cart !!!!
The name explains it all “heavy duty mobile base” and it helps move my Grizzly bandsaw around my shop but I had one little problem when I open the bottom door on the bandsaw it hits 2 of the bolts. I swapped the 2 taller bolts with 2 from one of the wheels.

Good enough
Would Not RecommendBought this for my bandsaw and a T28000 Bear Crawl for my table saw. Have to agree with a recent reviewer in that the T28000 is the superior unit. This one does feel a bit flimsy in comparison, and the steel wheels just don't move as smoothly but I think this will do the job. If I had it to do over again, I'd have bought 2 of the T28000's instead.

Meh. Not as good as the Bear Crawl
Would Not RecommendI bought this along with several Bear Crawl all swivel bases for some machines. I bought this because the machine I wanted to put on it was around 1200 lbs, so the Shop Fox was the only one that met that requirement. I think the only reason that it is rated at that rather than the Bear Crawl is because of the casters. The frame is flimsier than the bear brawl and the lift feet are subpar. It also doesn't lift on all corners, so i can't level the machine. I've already purchased another Bear ...
