Garbage

Folks, don't buy this. It's seriously just double-sided tape...period. It should be a crime to advertise this stuff as anything else. I bought it because I had a few small pieces that I missed when tiling my bathroom and didn't want to mix up a whole batch of thinset. I installed the pieces, waited several hours and then used a grout paddle to simulate installing grout. Every piece moved. I pulled them off and just peeled the tape (because that's what it is) right off. I thought the people that ...

No mess!

Easy to apply to the walls and to apply the tile to. You have to be careful with placing tile because it is not easy to adjust them once placed.

Great if used properly

Great product under the right conditions. Walls must be flat and tiles must be dry. If they are the tiles go on fast with no mess and stick very well. If one uses a wet saw the tiles must be dried with a heat gun or put in an oven or they won’t stick. I have been using it for about five years and have had no problems.

Walls have to be exactly straight - if your walls arent exactly straight then its easier to just use mortor rather than fill in a bunch of gaps

I have used this product on two projects with great success. You have to make sure the surface you’re using is flat and dust free. Clean and dry the tile as well, it’s very important that the surfaces are dust free. Much faster and cleaner than using thinset.

Great for backer for peel and stick tiles.

Easy to use. Very sticky! We used this as a backer for Art2D peel and stick tiles, due to uneven, old plaster wall.

Doesn't work as described

Product does not properly stick to the walls. Had ceramic tile as backsplash, which SEVERAL pieces fell off the wall and broke. This product is terrible and ended up costing me even more money to replace tile and find another product to adhere it to the wall

It was very easy to apply to the wall and worked great even on areas that were mudded and spackled. One area that came off had to be replaced only because the wall was still very dusty in that area. Wiping with a damp rag and reapplying a new piece worked perfectly. It’s important to use a trowel/firm straightedge to press on it once applied. Smaller pieces of tile were harder to get to stick, and it’s thin material so it’s also important that the surface is level. We grouted within an hour afte...
