Doesn’t work

We have only had one week. Every 2-3 hours it throws an E5 code. We empty the water and then the process restarts. We don’t want to continue this cycle, very inconvenient during the night. Called customer service for help and they told us to just put a pan under it. Very unhelpful. Will be returning today to try a different brand.

Bought this one year ago and it worked fine now it will just randomly shut off and wont turn back on.

High price for what you get

We bought this 2 years ago lasted 1½ summers. For what you pay I think it should last much longer! But when it worked, it worked!

Had this unit for about 2 weeks and it’s already stopped working.. I wouldn’t buy another

Did not come with the drainage hose, vent hose does not clip to stay on and the decibel on the description is misleading and it is very loud. It only blows in one direction. Not at all worth the price

Lo-Sense

Bought new. Used one season, stored over the winter. Attempted to use the next season and it did not cool. Went through the tedious process of filing a warrantee (2-year) claim and the company sent a replacement. Used for that season and again stored in the winter. Again, filed a tedious claim and was denied as they claim 2yrs from original purchase on, not replacement. Do not buy this piece of junk!

Unreliable

This thing definitely cools a small room… …whenever it decides to work properly. It’s hit or miss, however. Sometimes I can press the power button and it kicks on and starts cooling just fine. Yet other times, I’ll press power and it cools for a bit, then switches to fan mode as if the room is at the correct temperature (it’s not). The cooling will kick on and off as the room stays warm. Whenever I press power, I have no idea if it’ll cool the room or not. Unreliable. Buy something else.

Hisense is missing one important item

Hisense, where is your rain guard for the exhaust vent opening that sits in the window. Even if it's an optional purchase make this critical item available for all who purchase your product. This is a huge negative.

Junk

Bought a house and the sellers left one of these units behind. After turning it on know why they left it. Runs for a little while and the E5 error code comes on.

One of the best Portable units I"ve ever bought.

So far works better than anticipated. Gets my room cold enough I have to turn it off. LOL. Far better than the Honeywell ones I had before.

Does not vent hot air

cools air yes. hot air out into same room yes. this product should not be sold without a separate exhaust hose. one hose does not work adequately.
