Would Not RecommendDon't buy this water heater unless you want to flood your house. The tank failed and leaked everywhere after just over two years. The water heater before this (Bradford White) lasted more than 12 years. And yes, I flushed the water heater at least once a year, I have a pressure expansion tank, and I have a water softener. Manufacturer warranty will replace the tank, but the warranty only includes labor for one year. I bought the Lowes Protection Plan, which includes labor, but I am now going on ...

Good But Loud
Would RecommendHad to replace my 10 yr old water heater. This new unit gets hot, but as the unit is going through a cycle, there is a loud thumping sound which repeats for about a minute, then stops. Otherwise, this would be the perfect unit.
