Would anyone actually spend their time and waste their money for a permit to put an 8x10 shed on their own property? Unfortunately, the answer is yes.

Was this Answer Helpful ?My area not only requires a permit, it requires a spec sheet, which the manufacturer does not provide. I may not be granted the permit at all, so buyer beware - this shed may not be legal in your area - check before buying!

Was this Answer Helpful ?In my area any type of storage building less than 200 square feet. Does not require a building permit. Best to call your local building inspector.
