Why is this 1mm thinner than it's matching 3x6" subway tile?

The Hudson Bullnose can be used with any white tile in the Hudson White series, and as such must be made to match the thinnest tile thickness. When installing, you can simply back butter the thinner piece if needed to make up the difference.
