Can the electrical outlet be behind the fireplace and does it need to be on its own circuit?


The outlet can be placed behind the unit itself, that would not be a problem. We normally do recommend to have the unit on a dedicated circuit due to the amount of power the unit can draw when the heat is ran, 120V/60Hz, 1400W, 12.6 amps, but it is not required.
