In the description, it says nonstick. Is there a nonstick coating on it similar to nonstick aluminum cookware? Or are you implying that one can make it nonstick by seasoning it? Thanks.

No chemical nonstick coating — the “nonstick” refers to the natural seasoning layer on the cast iron. It’s built up from oil that’s baked into the surface, and it gets better with use and seasoning, rather than being like the slick PTFE/ceramic surface on nonstick aluminum cookware. Hope this helps!
