do you have to turn these on when you first buy them, mine will not light


Hi,turn on switch, for quick test cover top panel by hand.Set panel to Sun direction,if not lighting at enough dark,wait 1day to get charge from Sun

The switch stays in the "ON" position the entire time you have them out. The only time the switch goes to the off position is for storage.

these lights have a on/off switch. ? Do I leave them in "on" to charge them, or do I turn them "Off" to switch. Why do they even have the on/off switch?
