do these lights have some type of powering on/off switch? 1 day of charging & no lights. Every light I have bought at Lowes has worked but these.

Yes, The light needs to be ON at all times in order to work (only turn to OFF if you will be putting them away) If the light is in the OFF position, it will not charge. This switch is located under the light.
