Why does top rack not pull out all the way
1
Good day, Gina! Based on the Frigidaire manual for the Frigidaire 24-in Top Control Built-In Dishwasher with MaxDry, DishSense Technology, 52 dBA (Fingerprint Resistant Stainless Steel): If the top rack does not pull out all the way, the most common reasons are: 1. The rack is not sitting correctly on the rails - Make sure both sides of the upper rack are properly seated in the track/rollers. - Push the rack fully back in, then pull it out again evenly with both hands. 2. Something is blocking the rack movement - Check for dishes, utensils, or tall items sticking up and hitting the dishwasher door, spray arm, or interior. 3. The rack height may be set incorrectly (if your model has an adjustable upper rack) - Reposition the rack according to the manual instructions so both sides are at the same height. 4. Rail stops/clips may be engaged - The upper rack is designed to stop before coming completely out unless the rail stops are released. Do not force it past the stop. If the rack was installed recently, the issue is often that the upper rack rollers are not fully aligned in the rails, or the rack stops were not adjusted/removed correctly. The top rack on this Frigidaire model is not intended to pull completely free during normal use; it should extend enough for loading and unloading dishes. - Maico
