What is the noise level when running. Low? Medium? Noisy? Very noisy?

Was this Answer Helpful ?I would say the noise level is between low and medium. It is noisier than my 17 year old Maytag refrigerator that we have in our kitchen but the Maytag is very quiet. I read some reviews about it being noisy but purchased it anyway because it was going in a room that had a door we could close. In my earlier review I said it had a humming sound and also a buzzing sound. I have now determined that the buzzing sound was from the plastic grille (on the front below the door) vibrating against the metal frame. I put a little blob of hot glue in the center of the frame, allowed it to cool then re-installed the grille. The buzz is gone. We now keep the door to the room open and are not bothered by the normal hum it makes. That said, my hearing isn't as good as it was 20 years ago.
