The Whisper Remodel has a cutout dimension of 10 1/4" x 10 1/4". You would need to expand your current cutout if you wanted to use this fan. As a side note nearly all of the Panasonic line has standardized to a 10 1/4" square cutout. Keep in mind that in retrofit it is usually easier to remove drywall material than it is to replace.
