Is there a recommended Panasonic timer or switch for this fan? I have installed a LUTRON Maestro Countdown Timer Switch for Fans and Lights, 3A Fan/150W LED, Single-Pole/Multi-Location, Black (MA-T51MN-BL) and the fan will not turn on.

We have found that when our DC motors are placed on a solid-state timer the switch needs to have a white neutral wire as part of the switching, rather than just running straight from the wiring to the fan. When the switch does not have the white neutral wire as part of the switch it will cycle on and off constantly. My guess is that if you look at your switch you will find that your switch does not have a neutral wire coming from the back of the unit. I would suggest our FV-WCD02-W Countdown Timer switch for fan and light control. Most 3rd party switches will also work, just make sure the white neutral wire is part of the switch package.
