I have Cedar Chest and Oak table to cover. I have no clue re the finish that is on them NOW. Should I use Water based ? or oil based?


Thank you for your question. If the finish on the wood is currently a urethane, you can use either the water based or oil based urethane on top. You will need to sand with 220 grit sandpaper for adhesion and do a test area first. Sincerely, L.T., Digital Care Team
