I filled nail holes with wood putty - i am intending to prime and then paint over it, will this work? Or should i put wood filler overtop putty?


My woodwork has already been stained and sealed and nailed to wall. I just need to fill nail holes with putty. Right?

Hello. Our Wood Putty is a non-hardening putty designed to cosmetically fill nail holes, joints and other minor surface imperfections. You would need to stain and topcoat before applying our product. Regards, Minwax Customer Service
