I use minwax clear polyurethane on clear pin for trim & window sills will this work and will it darken as the wood does

Hello. Our Wood Putty is designed to be used over our stain and finish, as it will not dry if used underneath them. Our product most likely will darken over time. Regards, Minwax Customer Support
