This switch is labeled 3 and one, and directions given are for 3 and one.

This is only a 3 way switch. Don't use it for 4 way, it most likely won't stand up to a 4 way use.

Hello, Unfortunately Eaton has not tested the New Universal Dimmer DUL06P in a 4-way application and Eaton does not have any documentation on how to wire a DUL06P in a 4-way application. If you do need a 4 way application I can suggest our Eaton Smart dimmers AAL06 master and accessory ARD or 9540-N master dimmer and accessory 9542. One Master dimmer and 2 accessories. Thank you.
