My installer omitted the rubber sleeve and condensation tube. Instead he glued the PVC pipe directly to the power vent. Is this correct?


Brian, Can I have your contact information. My installer that was contracted by Loews is giving me pushback telling me I don't need the condensation sleeve installed. Thanks, Dan

No, this is not correct. Without the condensate coupling (rubber sleeve) water can get into the blower, resulting in damage to the blower assembly, which will result in not having hot water.
