Is the anode rod for this unit sectional? what do you recommend for limited space above the unit when a solid anode rod can't be inserted?


Replace it with a "sausage link" style rod. To remove the old rod, secure it with vise grips and cut it with a hacksaw.

The anode rod for this model is a 33 inch, ¾ NPT screw-in type zinc anode. It is one solid piece and is not segmented. We do offer a replacement segmented zinc anode rod.
