Just had this installed on Saturday. After running hot water, the heater makes a moaning sound for about 30 seconds. Defect?


Hi, Lowes/ AO Smith- I also purchased this same water heater have the same Fog Horn sound. You really need to pull these ALL off the Lowe's shelves and recall them instead of having us the customer discover the issue for you. This is getting out of hand as the last thing a homeowner wants is a defective product after much costs and efforts.
