What does a pallet of mulch weigh?

If you're lucky to get the bags completely dry, then yes, 30-35 lbs. But usually these bags are wet; more in the ball park of 40lbs each.
Was this Answer Helpful ?Pallet is 65 bags. Bags are "normally" 30-35 lbs. However, the mulch was wet which added a good bit of weight. The guy with the forklift said I was closer to 3000lbs. Fortunately I have a 2500 with air bags.
Was this Answer Helpful ?About 2000 pounds. If you are thinking about putting a pallet on to your 1/2 ton pickup truck or a single axle small trailer, you could damage either one. Additionally a pallet of mulch is top heavy, very easy to have it roll out of your vehicle or trailer without adequate restraint and cautious driving. I can carry a half of a pallet (30 bags) in a standard size bed of my 3/4 ton truck, no extra restraint needed.
