Cut Weeds With a Cordless String Trimmer
Cut grass and weeds using a cordless string trimmer. These grass trimmers are also known as electric weed wackers, gas weed wackers or cordless weed eaters. This machine allows you to maintain outdoor areas, thanks to its high-speed trimming line. With a rechargeable battery attached, a cordless trimmer can help you complete lawn tasks anywhere, whether at home or at other project sites.
Some battery string trimmers double as edgers that can remove weeds and grass along paved surfaces. Choose an edger-capable trimmer if you want to convert your trimmer into an edger without learning how to use a different tool.
If you want a long-lasting cordless trimmer edger, consider one with a brushless motor. Brushless motors use magnets to produce power. Brushed motors contain more parts and produce more heat and friction, wearing out the weed trimmer faster. If you have heavy grass and weeds to clear, look for a battery-operated weed eater with a higher voltage battery (40, 56 or 80-volts) for the power to cut through the toughest weeds.
