The simple ash pans make it easy to clean out your hearth without making a mess or needing to remove the grate. Just slide the pan out after it has cooled, using the optional handle (sold separately) Our smaller grates have a single pan, larger grates use a pair of pans to accommodate the center legs. Made of galvanized steel, use them in a fireplace or for an outdoor fire, available in both tapered (trapezoidal) shaped pans and non-tapered, rectangular or square, for non-tapered hearths, fire pits or grills.
