All Ghost Controls automatic gate opener systems are powered by a 12V battery. The 2 battery box kit mounts onto your fence or post, next to your gate opener system control box, to provide the primary power to your gate opener system. This flexibility allows you to mount the batteries up above ground in case you have standing or running water after a storm. The battery box kit includes a wiring harness with online fuse specifically designed to connect to two Ghost Controls 12V 7Ah sealed lead acid batteries. The battery box kit includes a locking tab on it so that you can add a padlock to it (not included) to prevent unauthorized access to the batteries.
