From airplanes to gutters, building frames to bridges, you’ll find metal
rivets holding components together in all kinds of applications. With a
pre-formed head at one end and another created after insertion, a rivet will
join sheet metal and other materials securely, resisting vibration and
supporting both shear and tensile loads. And with a blind rivet, you can join
pieces even without access to both sides.
At Lowe’s, we offer an assortment of steel, aluminum and nylon rivets.
Steel is best for heavy-duty construction applications while aluminum is
suitable for lighter duty jobs like gutters and ductwork. Nylon plastic rivets
have a number of uses, including for hanging fiber reinforced plastic (FRP)
panels.
We carry 1/8-inch and 1/4-inch diameter rivets as well as a number
of other sizes. You’ll find a wide range of lengths as well. Choose a
