The clamping mechanism on the sliding door handle replacement features a unique extruded aluminum saw-tooth style clamp that engages automatically when the slide door handle is in the locked position, and the door is slid closed. This sliding glass door handle consists of an extruded aluminum inside pull and a diecast constructed outside pull, both in a black- painted finish. This sliding door pull is constructed of a hardwood handle and diecast brackets. Its hardwood handle is lightly stained and has a clear satin finish, and the brackets are finished with a black-painted coating. Patio door pull handles like these are commonly used together with flush mount handle sets to offer a large gripping area for ease of operation. The mounting hole centers of the brackets are spaced apart at 6-5/8 inch, from center of hole to center of hole. Installation fasteners are included with each pull. This handle is a black internal style latching patio door handle found on Viking as well as many patio door manufacturers. The most common internal style latch. The handle body is diecast steel with a wood handle attached. Included is a matching keyed outside handle and keeper. The mounting holes are 3-15/16 inch apart. When the latch is installed into the door frame through an inside access hole, the connected lever is held in place by a flat spring as it operates the latch up and down to engage the keeper.

This sliding patio door handle set is constructed of extruded aluminum and comes in a black anodized finish. It is a hook style, surface mounted handle set that requires no mortising, and it is non-handed allowing it to be used on both left and right-handed patio sliding doors. The outside non-keyed locking pull is a flush pull (Prime-Line part C 1009), different in shape than the inside pull, and it can be changed with a separately purchased locking outside pull (like Prime-Line’s part C 1041). This handle set features a fixed anti-lift key which is designed to resist unauthorized entry by outside manipulation. To prevent accidental lock out, the hook latch will retract to the unlocked position if the door is closed while the hook is extended, also preventing damage to keeper and lock assembly.
