Use a concrete vibrating tool each time you create concrete floors and other structures. A concrete vibrator ensures a freshly made concrete object is strong from the inside by removing the air bubbles that could otherwise make it weak. Depending on the type you buy, you may also need a compatible motor, probe and other accessories.
Internal vibrators are the most popular type of concrete vibrator, featuring a probe that you manually stick inside the concrete as it rumbles. Some of these vibrators can be strapped around the user's back so vibrating can be done from anywhere. For flooring, a force plate compactor can vibrate newly paved concrete surfaces to prevent erosion. This compactor can vibrate a large area of concrete in a short amount of time.
You can find out how effective vibrators like the DEWALT Concrete Vibrator can be once you get the hang of using them. Check out our tutorial — How to Build a Concrete Slab — so you can practice vibrating concrete and prepare for upcoming projects.
