Bleeding your vehicle's brakes is a difficult job to do alone. The CRAFTSMAN® Handheld Brake Bleeder turns a 2-person job into a 1-person job to help make automotive maintenance more convenient. The hand-operated pump connects to the brake caliper bleed valve and uses vacuum pressure to pull brake fluid through the system. The tool kit can also be used for other automotive diagnostic and mechanical tests that require vacuum pressure.

The tools required to diagnose issues, replace components, and adjust the brake system are all supplied in one convenient blow-molded case. The included Brake Spring Pliers and Spring Washer Tool aid in installation and removal of drum brake springs and retainers. The Brake Adjusting Tool helps adjust the gap between the brake drum and shoe. Diagnose remaining disc brake pad material using the Brake Pad Thickness Gauge. Use the Caliper Push Back Tool, Disc Brake Piston Tool, and Brake Cube to reset the position of disc brake calipers in preparation for installation of new brake pads. Lastly, the 8 included bit sockets are applicable to most brake system hardware.
