I bought this product hoping to see some improvement in the bare areas of the yard. I seeded a couple of areas as instructed in Spring. Waiting, waiting, waiting. After 3 -4 months I figured this just wasn't a suitable environment for the seed. I then decided to go a step further and tried seeding a small pot of gardening soil. The granules were of a good size and I’m happy to say that my dogs did not try to mess with it. I have noticed a difference and the baldness is closing. I may have to buy a second one and repeat the process to get it fully covered.

Did a decent job filling in our bare spot
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Scott’s easy patch repair for Saint Augustine grass did a fairly decent job. The photos I posted are taken at approximately two week intervals. Looking at my photos you can definitely see an improvement in my brown patch of grass. It didn’t fill it all in, but I live in the southeast and our weather could play a part. We watered it in well and it got plenty of sun. I think it’s a great product for simple spot fill in.

The texture was something I wasn’t too sure about, but after watering it in it seemed to retain the moisture well. The instructions are clear, the packaging wasn’t the easiest to use, but it was decent in application. I received this product in exchange for my honest opinion.
