This is very sturdy and perfect for mounting solar panels, which is what I bought them for. When I saw them online, I thought they might have a little flex to them, but they are nice thick metal and as strong as I could possibly need. channel to tight from brackets

the channel was bent or to tight to properly secure brackets to this to be mounted correctly. We had to get claw hammers to ben the channel to allow the brackets to be installed correctly. This resulted in two people getting cut from the stress of trying to bend the strut.

Heavy duty and solid. I used this to mount an electric hoist in my garage.
