What Customers Are Saying
The shelving units were found to have a mix of positive and negative feedback. Customers praised the sturdiness, ease of assembly, and storage capacity, but reported significant quality issues such as bent or damaged shelves, misaligned holes, missing parts, and poor paint quality. The thin particle board shelves were also a common concern, with worries about sagging and durability over time. While the units may meet basic storage needs, the quality control and design flaws make them a risky purchase that may require additional investments to function properly and last.

I have lived in two homes in two different climates with these shelves. The first home was in Texas and the second home was in Virginia. Both times the shelves warped and fell. I was so upset at my husband for buying these shelves again when we moved to VA that it caused a fight with my husband and I. They warped and fell with less than 100 lbs of cleaning supplies. The pressed wood hanga on a very slender metal lip and it doesnt seat well and warps within a month. Don’t buy these. You wi...
composite board shelves useless product
the frame of the units is durable and well made. The shelves however are a composite board that warp and sag after a few months even with minimal weight on them. I had 2 milk crates with spray cans and oil cans half filling the crates. Purchased in October by spring the shelves were sagging 2 inches in the middle. The bottom of the center of the milk crates were missing the shelf by 2 inches. The garage isn't heated but is dry.On another shelf 2 half full gas cans caused the same issue. I purc...

TERRIBLE!
First of all, I never thought putting together shelving for my garage would be so horribly painful! You certainly need two people and the parts do not fit properly. The couplings are a joke! We had to use a rubber mallet to make it fit and when that didn't work, we had to take out the metal hammer which probably destroyed some of the pieces. The second joke is the shelf! How in the world can these shelves hold heavy items? When I was researching shelving, I looked at different ones and mist...

10 years old and still going strong
I bought 3 of these for garage storage several years ago and I am very happy with them and am planning to buy more for my new house. The only fault I can find is that a couple of the MDF shelves warped a bit, but other than that it was a great buy.
Shelves are poorly designed
The shelving unit went together fine but the wood inserts that support the weight do not fit snugly in the metal braces so when you load the shelves with weight they spread the metal supports and the wood shelf falls. There should be multiple screw holes in the metal supports that allow you to screw the wood in place.

Great Shelving design
Sturdy and easy to assemble. Very deep (24"s... 20"s would have been better). Shelf boards were gouged with some cracks, but still; usable

SAGGING SHELVES-DO NOT PURCHASE
I purchased 3 of these for storage in my garage. Was told at LOWES that these were very heavy duty shelves. A few months ago I noticed many of the shelves are sagging to the point one came crashing down. There shelves are really over rated, advertised as muscle heavy duty shelves with an over rated weight capacity. Upon contacting LOWES they admitted there is a problem with the particleboard shelves, and offered me a 10% discount on replacing them with plywood I really felt LOWES should have ho...

Heavy duty garage shelving
I purchased three units and they are better than expected. My older light-use units need to be attached to the wall while these are truly free-standing and capable of heavy loads. Additionally, the individual shelves are adjustable in one-inch increments allowing me to space them based on my needs. I highly recommend this unit for its strength and its fit and finish.

Very easy to put together. Took less then 30 minutes from start to finish. Only tool needed was a rubber mallet to help put the side beams in place.

Solid
HEADS UP: This is a solid piece of furniture, but it's a pain to put together. You need to hammer the rails into the posts so that it locks in, but even then, they sometimes slip loose, causing the whole shelf to wobble. To fix this, I recommend using epoxy. As you slide each rail into the post, put some epoxy on it, and then hammer it in. Once the epoxy dries, it shouldn't come loose. Mine is solid, and it looks good. Just took some additional work outside of the instructions.
