Lasting great after 5 years coastal Texas

We bought these chairs over 5 years ago at Lowes. They have been great without any issues to the fabric or frame. (We did get the replacement parts from the recall, but haven't installed the new parts yet.) I wish they still made and sold these great aluminum chairs that only have a couple small spots of rust after sitting outside year round right next to the salty the Laguna Madre Bay.

They don't last long!

I bought this whole set about 2 years ago at Lowe's. The chairs' material is coming apart. They were very expensive and they are dry rotting already. I'm not happy about it.

TERRIBLE seat material!!

DO NOT WASTE YOUR $$ on this poor quality seat material!! I purchased this set from Lowes last fall. It was stored in our shed during our mild Maryland winter and when we took it out this past weekend, unfortunately two of the seats are completely falling apart. I only got a month of use out of the set and it is non-returnable. it seems like the manufacturer should provide replacement material for the seats like they do for their umbrellas and canopies.

Didn’t pass the test of time

The seats are ripped thru after a year of use. That would be acceptable if you could just replace the fabric but you can’t. For the price, they should last a few years.

I had just purchased these and discovered this recall while googling them. I spoke with the Allen and Roth customer service rep who promised to send me 4 new corrected metal bases within 5 business days. She urged me not to use them til then. ...

no satisfaction from Allen and Roth

I bought this set last year, after 9-10 months all 4 sling seats ripped in same place. After repeated calls to Allen + Roth for the last 10 weeks, have been given one story after another, someone will call you back, I will call you later today with an answer, will check on your order number, will check reference number, etc. I think you get the run around picture. I do not recommend or would buy another Allen + Roth product.

Poor quality

Bought a set of 2 in Oct 2016. The leg on one of the chairs has already broken off. Working with Lowe's to get a replacement although the with such poor quality, I would rather purchase a different chair.

Working Out Well

I wouldn't spend the money on these if they weren't 1/2 off at the time. I needed some chairs for our outside bar height table and these have worked really well. I just wish they were about an inch shorter, the arms just hit the table edge. So for they're working out great!
