allen + roth Matte Black Stainless steel Double Shower Curtain Hooks 12 -Pack

Classy design that works

Even the lowliest of products can benefit from innovative thinking and a fresh design. Consider these shower curtain hooks from allen+roth. The smooth-rolling ball bearings at the top of the hooks eliminate the problems with most shower curtain hooks—they don’t snag, hang up or fall off the curtain rod. The double hook design is great for holding both the curtain and the liner. The inventive design creates a natural air gap between the two curtains which allows them to dry faster with less chanc...

Why?

I'm a Residential General Contractor, and I’ve generally been pleased with Allen + Roth products and Lowe's. However, after my recent experiences, I'm reconsidering my options. Your online ordering system is problematic. Some items default to store pickup, others are shipped, and some can't be ordered due to local store inventory issues. This level of inconsistency is frustrating and inconvenient. When ordering online, I expect not to have to deal with pickup logistics or store quantities. If I ...

Great hooks, easy to install, smooth movement

We love how easy these shower curtain hooks are to install, and how smoothly they slide on the curtain rod. The little silver balls help them slide back and forth more easily than any other hooks we have used before. I can't see myself choosing any other type of shower curtain hooks in the future. These are definitely my favorite.

Nice product, but…

The shower hooks are well made and the double hanger makes mounting an outer curtain and an inner liner a breeze, but the hooks are so large that two or three of them frequently slip off the shower rod when the curtains are slid open or closed.

Nice looking but not functional (crap)

If you don't mind half the hooks falling off the rod EVERYTIME you pull the curtain open or closed, these are fabulous looking hooks. If like me, you prefer to connect up the curtain and rod once and then forget about it until you next replace the curtain, spend your money on hooks that completely close around the rod. These things are so ineffective that I can't believe Allen and Roth actually made them available to the public and that Lowe's continues to sell them.

Look great, not functional at all.

These curtain hooks look great but the aren't functional. The shower curtains fall off the hooks every time you move the shower curtain. It was very frustrating and I threw them out after several days. I didn't have the packge any more to return them. I love Allen + Roth products but these curtain hooks are designed terribly. I cannot understand the good reviews or that they continue to be sold.

They Work!

I really like these curtain hooks. The hooks on both sides make it much easier to attach a shower curtain for the outside and the shower liner on the inside. They roll on the shower rod nicely. We will see how well they hold up over time. I highly recommend these.

Poor functionality, design flaw

Very pretty, move fluidly, however the shower curtains slip off VERY easily every time you slide them. If the manufacturer would’ve curved the curtain hooks a bit more at their tops to help keep the curtains secure these would be perfect. I bought these because I thought they would make getting the curtains on and off for cleaning or changing so much easier. I bought a heavier weight shower liner & it has helped the problem a bit but I’ll probably return these and get full closure rings.

Where have these been all my life?!

I love these! It is such a pain to change the shower curtain with the ‘lock’ style hooks where they have tension to close the loop. Half time I end up pinching my skin. And since we like changing the curtain outside seasonally to change the look in the bathroom, it used to suck! Now this hook allows the plastic liner to sit on the inside and the decorative to sit on its own hook outside. The ball to keep the curtain on the hook is perfect. Just the right size to fit into openings but not too s...

Never received product

When I got home with my order, I noted that this item was not included. When I went into the store 2 days later to inquire about the missing item, the clerk came back and said they had none is stock. So I requested a refund.
