I Hate Scratches
I like the lamp, purchased 2. 1 had scratches on the base & pole. Because I didn't feel like repacking it, I kept it. That's how they get you, with the packaging!

Faux wood
Somehow I missed the "faux wood" part. This lamp looks nice but the pole part of the lamp is a "tinny" metal material. Not real pleased with the feel of this. Trying to let it grow on me but it's not.
